Our Flock
We primarily lamb in March and wean lambs around the first of July.
This permits us to keep sheep on pasture most of the year except during the worst of winter seasons when we supplant their nutrition with hay and grain as well as during their gestation. We have always used from 4 to 7 RR rams during breeding season; this allows us to have a varied gene pool in our flock. In July 2003 we joined the national voluntary scrapie program. We have consistently used RR rams, DNA tested and kept records to advance to our current status of Export Certified in the SFCP program. We sell lambs, rams, yearlings, and ewes. We can put together non-related starter flocks for buyers.
